President/Presiding Clerk's Message Yearly Meetings USFW Newsletters |
Beginnings: Formed in 1881 by Eliza Armstrong Cox and others responding to a concern among Friends Women for missionary work.
Purpose:
We meet in local local churches/meetings/homes where we share lessons from the Blueprints, the program study book. We support Friends mission programs in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Palestine, Belize, Jamaica, Cuba and American Indians. Local groups will respond to local needs as well. We work cooperatively within our Yearly Meetings. Through our publication, The Advocate, members are kept informed of our activities. We meet globally every three years in Triennial Sessions.
